you have found a Notebook, you can post a notice here. We will accept notices
from anywhere is the U.S. and Canada.

recovery. This is merely a notice area intended as a free exchange of
information and no guarantee of recovery of property is implied. We also
disclaim any duplicity in the movement of stolen items. Our sole intent is to
provide a resource to assist Notebook owners recover their property.
This is a free service. There are a few conditions
that must be met in order to post your notice:

Lost or Stolen Items must be provided with a serial
number and a full description of the item with approximate date and time of
loss. Owner may offer a reward for return, but Metro Info Tech, Inc. is not
liable for any promises or agreements made between parties. Finders are
entitled to recover costs associated with the return of property to the owner
such as shipping, etc. At no time will any ransom demand for return of
property be posted.

A form of contact must be provided. This may be an
e-mail address (recommended), personal or business address (not
recommended), or a phone number (also
not recommended).
Please be responsible with this. A Yahoo e-mail
address, or similar type (Hotmail, Netzero etc.) is recommended.

Use of this page constitutes an agreement that you
will not hold Metro Info Tech, Inc, it's owners, employees or agents
liable for any return, use, damage to or failure to recover property. Again,
"Our sole intent is to provide a resource to assist Notebook owners
recover their property."

If you have found a notebook and wish to place a
notice, please be aware there is a possibility that some contacts may not be
from the real owner. You should not reveal the serial number until contact is
initiated, then ask the party for the serial number or identifying marks which
only the real owner would know.

If someone contacts you stating they may have your
notebook, or, you contact someone who posted a found Notebook, never
reveal the passwords you have implemented. By keeping your password concealed
you may still render the Notebook useless to the person having possession of
your property. That's what passwords are for!

Please be considerate and notify us if you have
recovered your property or you have found the owner. Time and space is
limited, and it is up to everyone to work within the guidelines to make this
work!
